The End is Near

I made George pout. First thing this morning he started in on picking me up when I dropped off the bike. On and on. Finally, I very firmly told him that I wanted to walk. I guess he just couldn't understand that tomorrow I'm going to be back in the snow and cold and so one more day to soak in the Arizona sun sounded really good to me. I rode 4 miles and walked 4. And it was wonderful! I have a little pain in my heel, but nothing like it used to be. I've been faithful to ice it twice a day, take my Advil, and wear my boot at night. And Scrabble is done now too. Final tally: Mom 52, Tina 50. I bow to the Queen. It was a blast. I have my alarm set for 4:00AM. My flight leaves at 7:20. I fly back to Chicago and then on to Columbus. I have a layover of 1hr and 55min in Chicago this time...hopefully the weather won't be an issue. Until I get home....
