It’s been a long week.
Teaching was good, but very different.
There were a lot of emotions flowing at work. Someone was “demoted” and I was waiting for the other shoe to drop. I had a talk with my supervisor finally on Friday and it doesn’t look like I will lose my job, but some things may change.
Nelson and I went to look at a house and two duplexes. We were considering a duplex so that Beth could have her own space, but while both had good features, neither was perfect. The house was really good, but Nelson doesn’t think it’s big enough. I would pare down to make it work, but that doesn’t appear to be an option.
Annie called this morning. She got a job and needs a sitter today. I am going to go over and watch the kids today. I’m waiting for Nelson to get home to find out if I’m going alone, going and taking Asher with me, or all three of us are going.
When I got home yesterday, Nelson asked me what I’m doing on the 22nd. I’m always in town on Thursdays, but I teach from 8:30 to 10:30. He asked if I could get a sub. I was about to get irritated with the mystery, so he quickly informed me that he was scheduled for his surgery that day and that the follow up visit with the doctor is June 2. It’s good to finally have this scheduled. The sad part is that his 50th birthday is the 25th. Happy Birthday to you.
Well, I have to dash. TTFN
Nothing is wasted. My life is often messy: sometimes because of choices I've made and sometimes becuase life is just messy at times. No matter how the mess comes, one thing remains true: out of the mess comes my message.

About Me
- daisymarie
- I am 54 years old. I have been married for 32 years to one of the most incredible men on the face of the planet. Our journey hasn't been easy, but it's been rich in love, forgiveness, joy, and adventure. I'm learning daily that God really does have a plan for my life. I want to live into whatever that means...however it unfolds. I'm an ESFP with a healthy dose of ADD...I love to help people see how very incredible they are and how much love God wants to lavish on them!
